The casuals- This group is small - women who don't bother at all about money are a distinct minority. They are to be found at all income levels and are characterized by their casual and sometimes flippant attitude to money. They prefer to have someone else doing the money management chore for them. At best they leave everything to their husbands or partners and expect to buy what seems right for them, as and when they like. At worst they can run up debts that cause problems - or remain blissfully unaware that their husbands or partners have real money problems.
In the final analysis, the vast majority of women do handle their own and the family money - either voluntarily or because they have to and/or have had the job wished on to them.
